Whether it is during Open House Days at the Emile Cohl School, Student Fairs throughout France or Strip or Animated Cartoon Festivals, there are many occasions which enable the general public to discover the Emile Cohl School, its students, its teachers and the drawing trades for which students are destined.

 

Open House Days at the Emile Cohl School    

The Emile Cohl School opens its door each year in Lyon between January and March to enable the general public and future students to discover its pedagogy, its premises and the means implemented as well as the drawing trades. Several events are programmed during these Open House Days:   conferences on professional job prospects offered by the Emile Cohl School, fees and financial aid, discussions with alumni, etc. Individual interviews may be organized, for those who wish.

 

The Emile Cohl School goes out to meet students and the general public throughout France

Each year, the Emile Cohl School participates in important vocational guidance events for young people as well as other prestigious and convivial public meetings.

Cohlection :  Book Signing Event

Just before the year’s-end holidays, the Emile Cohl School organizes an evening for the general public to meet the authors and illustrators who have studied at the school. This event is open to everyone and enables all the school’s alumni to dedicate their most recent works in the same premises where, years previously, they learned their trade.

 

Emile Cohl Students distinguish themselves at international festivals

For over 10 years, the end-of-study films produced annually by 5th year students at the Emile Cohl School have been officially selected in fifty or so highly prestigious international festivals.

This is an excellent occasion for the general public to appreciate the top quality and creativity of their films.

“Recruitment Day” :   Each year, the Emile Cohl School welcomes fifty or so firms from the sectors of Publishing, Video-Gaming, Animated Cartooning, etc. to come meet with our future graduates.
