Graphein Foundation

The Graphein Foundation supports young illustrators from underprivileged backgrounds in continuing their studies. It operates under the umbrella of the Bullukian Foundation, which is recognized as a public-interest organization.

Established on April 7, 2017, at the initiative of the Émile Cohl School and placed under the aegis of the Bullukian Foundation, the Graphein Foundation provides support for Émile Cohl School students from low-income families.

Through its actions, it encourages them to pursue their education by awarding scholarships that complement existing public student aid, or when their financial resources are insufficient to cover housing, food, or tuition costs.

The Graphein Foundation operates entirely through donations. It funds scholarships awarded based on financial need and academic merit, and also provides students with drawing materials.

Each year, the foundation supports around fifty students, thanks to the generosity of individual donors and the sponsorship of the school itself—along with corporate sponsors such as Canson, Faber-Castell, Fiducial Office Stores, Charbonnel, and Lefranc Bourgeois.
