International program

Publié le 6 October 2025

The school welcomes students from all over the world and counts alumni working across the globe.

Since its founding, the school has welcomed international students. Each year, around sixty international students from over thirty different nationalities join the school, from the preparatory year to the fifth year.

In 2008, the Drawing & French Foundation year was created to allow non-French-speaking students to learn academic drawing alongside French language instruction.
Since the start of the 2024 academic year, these students now share all practical courses with French students, offering a fully immersive experience.

Internships abroad are strongly encouraged during the third and fifth years. Around 25% of students complete their internship in another country, with support from a dedicated team who help them search for opportunities and apply to targeted companies.

A Global Network of Alumni

Since 1984, the thousands of alumni trained at Émile Cohl have become its best ambassadors around the world.
Whether they are French students moving abroad to share their artistic expertise—rooted in both French tradition and the “Cohl” approach—or international students returning to their home countries with newly acquired skills, they now form a dynamic and far-reaching professional network.
