Every day, Aleth follows the same routine. Every day, she walks into her cold, sterile open-plan office. Every day, her stomach tightens as the elevator doors open to the indifferent stares of her colleagues. Every day, to comfort herself, she activates her Newton’s cradle, using its rhythm to pace her day. Every day, the hours slip by to the monotonous clicking of her mouse, punctuated by the oppressive sense of being watched by surveillance cameras. Every day, the return journey on the subway ends with a heavy sigh—a reflection of a life she endures, void of color or meaning. Every day, Aleth endures her routine, feeding its relentless cycle.
But one evening, something unexpected breaks through the monotony. As she stares blankly into space, a sudden jolt of the subway draws her gaze to the floor. There lies an abandoned book. Curious, she picks it up and is surprised to discover it’s about Impressionism. As she flips through the pages, she uncovers artworks she had never imagined. These paintings stir emotions she’s never felt before—intense, unfamiliar, and moving. For the first time, Aleth feels an escape, a glimpse into a different reality. Through the beauty of art, her stifling routine is momentarily suspended, transporting her to a brighter, awakened vision of the world.

3D Drawing artist
My name is Antoine Stefani, I’m 25 years old and I’m a 3D artist. Originally from Ardèche, France, I began my higher education in Geneva, Switzerland, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. During those three years, I focused on political science and political geography—fields that taught me a great deal about strategic analysis and global issues. However, despite my interest in these subjects, I felt the need to pursue a path more aligned with my creative aspirations. Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about art and creation. It was with a strong desire to reconnect with my artistic ambitions that I decided to switch paths and focus on drawing. I joined the preparatory class at Émile Cohl to strengthen my artistic foundations, with the goal of entering a professional 3D program. This decision marked a turning point in my journey. During my three years at Émile Cohl, I quickly chose to specialize in 3D, drawn by the professional opportunities the program offered. I developed a deep interest in modeling—particularly character modeling—as well as in texturing and lighting. This training taught me to be efficient, persistent, and to constantly push the boundaries of my creativity. These qualities helped me refine my artistic practice and strengthen my ability to take on challenges in the field. At the end of my studies, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at Gao Shan Pictures, an animation studio based on Réunion Island. I joined the team as a Layout Artist on the animated feature film In Waves, currently in production. Throughout this experience, I learned a great deal from the studio team and demonstrated my adaptability. It was a formative and inspiring introduction to the animation industry that reinforced my commitment to this field. Today, I’m determined to continue this journey in animated film or other creative projects. My goal is to keep developing my skills in modeling, texturing, and lighting so I can contribute to ambitious and diverse productions.
