Drawing FLE Preparatory Classes

850 hours/year including 350 hours of FLE (French as a Foreign Language)

Certificate of end of training

Classes are taught by academics and drawing teachers from the Emile Cohl School. With personalized language training, the objective is to acquire level B1 in French. International students also benefit from an intensive practice of drawing.

The candidate must :

• be the recipient of a Baccalauréat diploma or equivalent
• have level A1 in French
• have previous experience in painting, drawing

The selection of candidates is carried out on file. From January to July, applicants can send us their application file either directy to inscriptionsfle@cohl.fr, or through CampusArt’s online application plateform Toucan.

An application file includes :

• a portfolio
• a CV
• a letter of motivation in French
• a photocopy of the applicant’s current passport
• cerfified copies of the applicant’s diploma(s)

After studing, if the application file’s accepted, applicant will be contacted via e-mail or informed by Toucan, in order to complete the administrative enrollment procedures.

The art portfolio must contain life drawings and must include the following required works (3-5 drawings per category) :

• Studies on black and white : crockery, instruments, tools, etc.
• Studies on coulour : fruits, vegetables, leaves, flowers, bark, minerals, varied materials, etc.
• Sketches : personnages, animals, landscapes, etc.

Work based on imagination is optional, but could be significant supplementary elements to the applicant’s art portfolio
